Collette Cameron's Dream Job & TRIUMPH AND TREASURE w/ giveaway!

My Dream Job

I’m not sure whether it’s my love of history and romance, or because I love to travel, especially in Europe, but my absolute dream job would be to be a castle tour guide.
Can you imagine how fabulous that would be?
Not only could I travel all over the place, but to be able to explore castles and palaces, maybe take a peek into those area off-limits to the general public. Wow!
I’m getting excited just thinking about it.
There’s something intrinsically magical and romantic about castles, but the history behind them is every bit as fascinating. As a tour guide, I’d get paid to do something I love. Plus, just think of all the research I could do for my writing!
I’m not particular about what kinds of castles I’d like to explore either. If it has a turret, moat, mullioned window, drawbridge, dungeon, tower, bailey . . . anything that remotely qualifies it a castle or a keep, I’m there!
Naturally as part of my job, I’d have to stay in the castles I visited, and even on occasion, dine in a few of them. Oh, and best of all, if there were a ball or a soirée  two, I’d get to dress appropriate to the era and dance the night away.
I’d be expected to show castle ruins—if only they stones could talk—which I find every bit as fascinating as the castle themselves.
The furnishings, the architecture, the artwork . . . sigh.
Yep, that’s a job I’d never retire from.

A disillusioned Scottish gentlewoman.
Angelina Ellsworth once believed in love—before she discovered her husband of mere hours was a slave-trader and already married. To avoid the scandal and disgrace, she escapes to her aunt and uncle’s, the Duke and Duchess of Waterford. When Angelina learns she is with child, she vows she’ll never trust a man again.

A privileged English lord.
Flynn, Earl of Luxmoore, led an enchanted life until his father committed suicide after losing
everything to Waterford in a wager. Stripped of all but his title, Flynn is thrust into the role of marquis as well as provider for his disabled sister and invalid mother. Unable to pay his father’s astronomical gambling loss, Flynn must choose between social or financial ruin.

When the duke suggests he’ll forgive the debt if Flynn marries his niece, Flynn accepts the duke’s proposal. Reluctant to wed a stranger, but willing to do anything to protect her babe and escape the clutches of the madman who still pursues her, Angelina agrees to the union.

Can Flynn and Angelina find happiness and love in a marriage neither wanted, or is the chasm between them insurmountable?

  2. I would love to work in a bakery. I love seeing beautiful baked creations and yummy breads as well. The smells would be just delightful and seeing the happy looks on customers' faces would make it really fun.

    1. My dad worked in a bakery when I was little and once told me he got tired of the goodies. I don't think that would ever be the case for me!
